Four Fire Companies Respond After Vehicle Crashed Through Building

Four fire companies responded to reports of a vehicle through a building this morning at the corner of Georgetown Road and 25th Street.
Thankfully, the building was unoccupied at the time. The driver of the vehicle was transported by Bradley County EMS for treatment of unspecified injuries.

Two Members of Cleveland Fire Department Received Service Awards

In the beginning stages of the Hatcher Mountain wildfires, two members of our command staff responded to the scene and helped bring order to the initial chaos. Therefore, they were presented with Distinguished Service Awards for the exemplary efforts they exhibited during the challenging command operations at the Sevier County wildfires from March 30, 2022, through April 1, 2022.

Commercial Structure Fire at Southern Heritage Bank

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Earlier today, your Cleveland Fire Department received reports of a commercial structure fire at Southern Heritage Bank on Keith Street. Eight fire companies responded to the blaze.
First-arriving units reported smoke coming from the eaves and an aggressive interior attack was made. The fire was contained to the attic; thankfully, no injuries were reported.
