CLEVELAND, TN. (January 23, 2026) — At approximately 5:50 a.m., deputies responded to an aggravated domestic assault at a residence on Bent Tree Drive NW. While in route, deputies were advised that the suspect had fled the scene in a vehicle.

The suspect subsequently crashed the vehicle into a residence on Blue Springs Road and fled on foot. A BCSO drone was deployed to assist in the search and was able to locate the suspect near Blue Springs Church Road, where the individual was safely apprehended without further incident.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol is investigating the vehicle crash, and all matters related to the crash are being handled by THP.
