Cleveland City Officials and Leaders Joined together for the Grand Opening of the “Blythe to Blythe” Sidewalk System

Business, Community, News

Mayor Kevin Brooks and several members of the Cleveland City Council joined community leaders in the Blythe-Oldfield community on Monday for the grand opening of the “Blythe to Blythe” sidewalk system.

This project was made possible by funding from the City’s CDBG program and a grant from the Tennessee Department of Health. The 1.95-mile project connects the Blythe Family Support Center and Blythe-Oldfield Park to Blythe-Bower Elementary School and Avery Johnson Park along with several hundred homes in between. The Blythe to Blythe network is a fantastic amenity for one of Cleveland’s oldest neighborhoods and greatly expands pedestrian connectivity to our greenway/sidewalk system!
