Two New POST Certified Officers with the Cleveland Police Department

We welcome home out 2 newest POST certified officers, Daniel Welch and Lauren Judkins. They have been attending Blount County’s Law Enforcement Academy for the past 12 weeks. The academy gives new officers skills, knowledge and training in basic law enforcement activities. They will now continue to learn as they complete their 16-week Field Training Program back in Cleveland.
Both came home with awards. Officer Welch brought home Top Gun while Officer Judkins secured class Valedictorian! We are so proud of both of them and cannot wait to see them excel on patrol.
